Lecturer in Voice, East 15 Acting School, University of Essex.

Morag became an accredited teacher of Nadine George Voicework in September 2022. She teaches Voice, Speech and Dialects at East 15 Acting School and has a special interest in vocal identity. She also coaches professional actors for Theatre, Radio and Screen – companies she has worked with include BBC TV, BBC Radio 4 and the National Theatre of Scotland.

Morag was introduced to the work in 1996 by Ros Steen at a workshop Nadine gave for Royal Conservatoire of Scotland alumni. It has continued to influence Morag’s creative practice since, and it inspired her to immerse herself in voicework full time. Following on from her 25-year dual-career as an actor and teacher, she was awarded a scholarship for the MA Voice Studies at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama and went on to teach Voice in UK conservatoires. She is a Fellow of the Institute of Higher Education.
