Voice and Performing Arts Teacher
Grete first met Nadine in 2012 and has been working with the Nadine George Voice Work ever since as both a practitioner and teacher. She received her accreditation in early 2019 and uses the work in educational projects for professional actors and directors in Europe. She works as a guest lecturer at several Nordic universities and colleges and has been head of the LumparLab Teaterförening (theatre association) on the Island of Åland since 2008. She originally trained as an actor, in Oslo, Stockholm and London and became head of the Scandinavian Centre for Theatre Research between 1997 – 2003.
Grete continues with her own professional development in movement with Silvana Barbarini and singing with Catherine Frisk Grönberg. She is also certified by Jurij Alschitz in Stage Art Pedagogue (European Association for Theatre Culture) and is researching the integration of these practices with NGVW.
