Opera Singer and Voice Teacher
Anette is a professional Opera Singer, Singing Teacher and Voice and Speech Therapist who previously worked as an assistant professor in Voice, Speech and Singing at The Theatre Academy in Luleå.
She first met Nadine in 2009 when participating in a Voice Studio International workshop and has subsequently attended many VSI workshops in London, Glasgow and at Teateralliansen in Stockholm. She began using the voice work in her own teaching in 2011 and in 2013 was invited by prof. Ros Steen for an Erasmus Exchange at the Royal Conservatoire in Glasgow where she had the opportunity to teach voice in their acting and singing Departments. In 2019 she became assistant lecturer in voice at the Department for Actors at Stockholm Academy of the Arts, where she now teaches NGVW to actors and opera singers.
Through this work she gives her students an opportunity to understand the connection between the voice and the body, improving confidence, physical awareness and a greater understanding of the breath, the strength in the vocal and physical vibration of this work and to find freedom and empowerment while linking the sound to the body and the text.
